Uffizi Gallery in Florence
Uffizi Gallery is one of the top and oldest museums in the world. It is hosted in Palazzo Pitti in the historical center of Florence. In the next years a new part will be completed, called The New Uffizi. Millions of visitors to Florence and Tuscany, every year, visit Uffizi Gallery to see?some of the most famous works of art and masterpieces with their own eyes. Remember that Uffizi Gallery is closed on Mondays, January 1, May 1, December 25? and it is open from Tuesday through Sunday and that ticket office closes at 6:05 pm, instead museum starts closing down at 6:35 pm. There are 3 types of tickets: full, reduced and free. Full tickets are for all non-EU citizens over the age of 18 and all EU citizens over 25. Reduced are for EU citizens between 18 and 25 years old (valid identity document needed at the entrance) and for teachers from EU public institutes with proof of position. Free tickets instead are for minors under 18 years old, regardless of citizenship, EU citizens with a handicap/disability and one accompanying family member, ICOM members and journalists with valid ID showing professional status.
